Under Section 67 of the OHS Act 2004, all elected Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) and Deputy HSRs are entitled to attend a 1-day WorkSafe-approved HSR Refresher OHS Training Course each year they hold office, after completing the 5-Day HSR Initial Course.
HSRs have the right to:

Attend on paid time

Have the employer cover the course and associated costs
What the Work-Related Gendered Violence Refresher course covers:

A refresher on key rights and powers under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004

What constitutes work-related gendered violence, including the role of harmful gender stereotypes

Real-world examples of work-related gendered violence in the workplace
-
How HSRs can identify risks and use their powers to address work-related gendered violence as a health and safety issue
Why it matters
Work-related gendered violence, including sexual harassment, is a serious occupational health and safety issue that can harm any worker regardless of gender or sexual orientation. It can be addressed under the OHS Act 2004.
