Family & Domestic Violence: A Workplace Issue Training

Family and domestic violence is not just a personal issue—it’s a workplace issue. Under the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), all workers now have access to new Family and Domestic Violence (FDV) Leave provisions.


The course:

  • Provides an understanding of the societal context in which this legislation has been produced
  • Explains the unique nature of Family and Domestic Violence leave
  • Identifies options for supporting members and workers who disclose Family and Domestic Violence
  • Other considerations that come out of the new provisions, including interactions with enterprise agreements

Course details: 

Time: 9.30am - 12.30pm 

Duration: 3 hour course

Cost: $100 + GST per person

We run the course throughout the year at Victorian Trades Hall Council or you can contact us to request in-house training.
