Positive Duty Training
Our Positive Duty training course aims to educate participants around the requirements to proactively protect against certain behaviours in the workplace. While many people’s knowledge of the Positive Duty stems from recent changes to federal legislation, we also consider obligations under state legislation.
Our training examines:
- What is meant by “Positive Duty”
- What the positive duty applies to
- How to be proactive
- Options when the positive duty is breached
The course runs for 3 hours.
We run the course at Victorian Trades Hall Council or you can contact us to request in-house training.
