Please note, if you are seeking industrial advice or representation you should contact your union directly.
A union is a collective of workers who have banded together to fund their mutual advocacy and legal support - so unless you have been contributing to that collective effort and the support of other workers in your situation, it is unlikely they can support you now. You should always join your union as soon as possible when starting in a new job or industry - we are stronger together. In union, we win rights, respect and justice for all workers.
If you are under 30 years old, we offer a service through the Young Workers Centre to provide advice and support on your rights at work.
