Section 72 of the Commonwealth Work Health and Safety Act 2011 entitles all elected HSRs and Deputy HSRs to undertake a course of training of their choice approved by Comcare Australia. The VTHC is authorised to deliver both the Comcare HSR Initial OHS Training Course and the Comcare HSR Refresher OHS Training Course under the auspices of the Australian Council of Trade Unions.

Course dates: 14-18 July 2025
Course hours: 9am - 5pm
Course length: All HSR Initial OHS Training Courses are 5 days.
Course fee: $990 + GST (Metro and Regional).
Courses require a minimum of participants to proceed. In the unlikely event that courses do not meet this requirement, those enrolled will be contacted to re-schedule.
