With devastating heatwaves and fires happening around the world and Australia set for a dangerously hot summer of our own, climate change is the biggest threat to young workers.
But we won't just despair, we'll get organised! That’s why for our August Solidarity Night, we will be looking at how young people can fight for climate justice.
That's why we are super excited to hear from Aarin Moon from the Maritime Union of Australia (MUA), staunch young people from Tomorrow Movement fighting for a #ClimateJobsGuarantee and Charlie Joyce from the Australia Institute's Carmichael Centre.
They will share the types of action that we can take as workers to address the climate crisis and how we can win a better world with good, union jobs and a safe climate.
Drinks and snacks provided!
