Solidarity Nights are back for 2023! Last year was a massive year where we collectively won changes for apprentices and challenged businesses that refuse to protect their workers, like Honey Birdette and Karen's Diner. We have another huge year ahead of fighting for young workers, so we thought working together on a banner to represent our mission as the Young Workers Centre is a great place to start!
We will be debuting this banner at the International Women's Day rally! Here is a little sneak-peek of the banner design!
We will be providing some drinks and snacks and it'll be a great opportunity to discuss our goals for the year while meeting/catching up with other young worker activists.
Our Solidarity Night will be at Victorian Trades Hall Council on Thursday the 2nd of March from 6pm-8pm.
This is a COVID safe event, please ensure you are fully vaccinated, bring a mask just in case, sanitize and check in.
