This Women Onsite Job Readiness session covers Apprentice Readiness: your rights at work, health and safety and bullying and discrimination. This is for anyone who is an apprentice or considering an apprenticeship and wants to learn more. In this session delivered in partnership with the Young Workers Centre, you'll increase your understanding of:
- Apprentice Readiness: your Training Contracts, Training Plans, Apprentice pay, TAFE fees and Allowances.
- Your Rights at Work as an Apprentice: Minimum rights, apprentice wages, pay slips, Awards and Collective Agreements and Hours of Work
- Health and Safety as an Apprentice: Your Safety Rights, Employer responsibilities, Mental Health, Health and Safety Reps, Worksafe and WorkCover and where to get help
- Bullying and Discrimination: What is workplace bullying, power dynamics, Brodie's Law, Sexual Harassment, Discrimination and where to get help
