Voice to Parliament Campaign BBQ

February 27, 2023 5pm - 6pm

Voice to Parliament Campaign BBQ

The Victorian trade union movement is hosting a BBQ to show our support for the Voice campaign. We're proud to support the "Vote YES" for a Voice to Parliament campaign – it’s a historic change long overdue. We will be joined by our guest speaker Sheena Watt, Victorian Member of Parliament, former union officer and proud Yorta Yorta woman.

Join us to find out what the union movement's campaign in support of the Voice will look like and how you can get involved. There will be badge making as part of the BBQ fun.

According to a recent poll, 80% of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people back a Voice to Parliament. Enshrining a Voice to the constitution will enable Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to provide advice to the Parliament on policies and projects that impact their lives.

Know any friends, family or comrades who would be interested? Invite them along!
