The ongoing Covid19 pandemic has put thousands of workers out of work, not to mention the devastating impact of lockdowns on our lives and the lives of our families.
Our best chance of returning to the things we love sooner is to get vaccinated as soon as we can.
Australian workers overwhelmingly want to get vaccinated. As unionists, it’s as much about keeping our workplaces safe as it is about our personal health.
Rania, one of our amazing essential workers at @VicUnions showed #VaxSolidarity and got her jab today 👏✊ Keep your vaccination selfies coming! pic.twitter.com/YG2nJvwte3

We unionists also understand the power of showing up loud and proud in solidarity.
That’s why Victorian Trades Hall Council is encouraging all union members to share a post-vaccine selfie with the hashtag #VaxSolidarity
Believe it or not, the humble #VaxSolidarity selfie is also our most effective tool to build support for the vaccine, and to encourage vaccine take-up amongst folks who still have concerns.
For folks sitting on the fence, seeing people like them roll up their sleeves and get vaccinated makes the whole question of vaccination less scary, less political, and less of a question.
So don’t be shy - post your photo on social media with #VaxSolidarity and help encourage your fellow unionists to get vaccinated!
