Join unionists to welcome the Walk for Truth on the final day as it reaches State Parliament. We stand in solidarity with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people on the journey for truth, Treaty, and justice.
Yoorrook Justice Deputy Chair Commissioner Travis Lovett, Kerrupmara Gunditjmara, is walking an incredible 370km journey from Portland, where colonisation of Victoria began, to Parliament, where we can transform the future, to deliver the final report and recommendations of the Yoorrook Justice Commission.
The Yoorrook Justice Commission has led a groundbreaking truth-telling process here in Victoria, to document the harms of colonisation for First Peoples and chart a course forward for action, healing and justice.
The Walk for Truth is an opportunity to learn and reflect on our history, while building connections and walking together for a stronger future - and Victorian unionists walk in solidarity.
