Have you ever wanted to use your TikTok skills to campaign? Have you ever been campaigning and wish you had TikTok skills?
For our November Solidarity Night young workers are coming together for a TikTok workshop. You'll hear from Trades Hall's very own TikTok star, Wil Stracke and Social Media Coordinator at University of Melbourne, Alec Farrow about why and how to use TikTok to make change.
There are so many great way to get a campaign message across and knowing how to utilise social media to do it is key. Maybe you already know how to use the app but you've never thought about using it for a cause you care about. Maybe you wanna fight to abolish junior wages and you'd like to learn how to spread the message on TikTok.
Either way, November's Solidarity night is the place for you.
We will be in the Nallei Jerring room which is on level 2 of the rear building. Don't worry, we'll have signage and people to direct you!
Workers aged 30 and under are encouraged to attend Young Workers Centre events.
