Young Workers are getting organised to ABOLISH JUNIOR WAGES!
In Australia, young people can legally be paid as little as 40% of an adult wage. This is unfair, discriminatory and it puts young people behind. It's time to abolish junior wages.
With the campaign gaining momentum, there's never been a better time to get involved - we need your voice to add to the thousands of workers who have put theirs to this campaign. But more than that, we need real life stories - we need your story.
We'll be running two drop in sessions at Trades Hall in Carlton, where you can come and chat to us about your Junior Wages story on camera for our social media campaign. We'll bring the lights, microphone, and plenty of support - just bring yourself.
Drop in session 1 - Afternoon
DATE: Thursday, November 6
TIME: 4pm - 7pm
PLACE: Trades Hall, Carlton
Drop in session 2 - Morning
DATE: Tuesday, November 11
TIME: 11am - 2pm
PLACE: Trades Hall, Carlton
Can't make the drop in session, or not comfortable on camera?
Email us your story at [email protected] and we'll have someone else read your story to camera (it can be completely anonymous if you like!).
