Join us to hear about the newly announced formal consultation process for legislation to end the misuse of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).

NDAs are often misused to cover-up instances of sexual harassment-- an OHS hazard that is entwined with work systems and culture. NDAs take power away from victims by taking away their voice, effectively silencing them. This has the effect of protecting the perpetrators from the consequences of their actions and undermines any opportunity to implement effective controls to work practices and systems to prevent future instances.

We'll be joined by Carolyn Dunbar from the Victorian Trades Hall Council (VTHC) Women's team, who will be telling us about the campaign to end the misuse of NDAs and how this will have an impact on how HSRs ensure allegations of sexual harassment are addressed in workplaces.
