We're a step closer towards ending workplace harassment!
Women in union in Victoria have been campaigning in workplaces, in Parliament and on the streets to win new laws to end the misuse of non-disclosure agreements in sexual harassment and discrimination matters.
Thousands of Victorian workers told decision-makers: it's time for safety over silence.
In a landmark moment last December, the Victorian government announced that around 90% of formal submissions made by workers, their unions and other organisations about NDA laws supported the strongest model for reform. Our message could not be ignored. Since then, the Victorian government has been developing legislation to limit NDAs.
With the legislation to be introduced this year, join our next NDA Activist Network meeting for this exciting update and get involved in next steps in the campaign.
We have come so far already through your actions. Now it's time to see it through. Come along to learn about:
- The campaign that moved decision-makers to act
- Our proposed victim-centred model for reform
- Updates including recent Trades Hall lobbying, new and proposed laws around the world, including in the UK
- Next steps activists can take in the campaign.
