The Young Workers Centre successfully campaigned to criminalise wage theft in 2020, which disproportionately affects young workers. Now we’re working to abolish the biggest LEGAL form of exploitation experienced by young workers: junior wages. Young Australians lose a whopping $3.54 billion less in wages per year compared with what they would earn on the adult wages.
