In 2025, we're Standing Up, Fighting Back and Taking Back IWD!
Forget the corporate bullsh*t, this International Working Women’s Day we’re standing up for our rights and fighting back against the patriarchy.
Since Australia’s first IWWD Rally held in Sydney nearly 100 years ago, generations of women have marched for radical local and international causes. Now more than ever we need to stand together in solidarity.
Let’s rally through Melbourne together on Thursday 6 March at 5.30pm and demand justice, safety, respect and equality for all women.
When: Thursday 6 March, 5:30pm
Where: State Library of Victoria - meet at the corner of Swanston st & La Trobe st & look for the Young Workers Centre banner.
