Are you a manager, supervisor, or part of your workplace OHS Committee? This 2-day course is designed specifically for you.
You’ll gain a solid understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 and your legal responsibilities under it. While this course is not a substitute for the 5-Day HSR Initial OHS Training, it provides essential knowledge to help you support a safe and healthy workplace.
Why it matters:
Managers, supervisors, and committee members play a crucial role in workplace health and safety. Under the OHS Act, employers must, so far as is reasonably practicable, provide a working environment that is safe and without risks to health.
This course covers:
-
Planning – Identifying and controlling workplace hazards
-
Integration – Embedding health and safety into daily operations alongside productivity, quality, and customer service
-
Involvement – Understanding your role in building a culture and practice of safety through active commitment and collaboration
Whether you're new to these responsibilities or want a refresher, this course will give you the tools to lead on safety with confidence.
