Using OHS Frameworks to Address Workplace Bullying

Workplace bullying is a serious psychosocial hazard. However, when bullying does occur in the workplace, some employers are quick to default to individualised solutions to the problem or attempt to minimise their liability rather than addressing the broader issues

NOTE - THIS IS A REPEAT WORKSHOP. PLEASE ONLY ATTEND IF YOU MISSED OUT ON THE FIRST WORKSHOP ON 19 JUNE.

In March, we held a liveshow with Professor Michelle Tuckey and VTHC OHS Information and Website Organiser Martin Raspin discussing how bullying can be addressed by changing work systems. As HSRs, you asked us for a follow up event walking through an action plan with the steps that you can take as HSRs to change the work systems that cause bullying.

That's why on the 27th of July we will be running an online workshop on using OHS frameworks to stop workplace bullying. We will be joined again by Martin Raspin, who will discuss how HSRs can implement an action plan to address bullying.

The event will be held on Zoom. You will receive a link to the Zoom meeting once you have RSVP'd to this event below.

As an HSR, addressing psychological hazards can be the trickiest part of the job. By attending, you're helping change Victorian workplaces for the better. We can't wait to see you there.

This event is sponsored by Slater & Gordon.
