Feminism at the Hall | Comrades and Commissioners

16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence is an international campaign to organise to eliminate violence against women and girls and runs from 25 November until 10 December each year.

This 16 Days, join a special Feminism at the Hall discussion with Comrades and Commissioners. We'll hear about the work our Commissioners are doing to promote gender equality and for the elimination of violence against women, children and gender diverse people. We'll hear what we can do together in our workplaces  as well as communities to end gender-based violence.

Our very special guests include:

  • Micaela Cronin, Federal Commissioner for Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence
  • Dr. Niki Vincent, Victorian Public Sector Gender Equality Commissioner
  • Ro Allen, Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commissioner

We'll take this end of year opportunity to celebrate the struggles and wins union women have had in 2023 and look towards a powerful 2024!

Please arrive at 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start. Light drinks and snacks provided. All welcome. Please review our access key for the event here.
