Candidate School Solidarity Election Phonebank

We are teachers, ushers, frontline workers, and community care workers and we're stepping up.
Eleven exceptional union members from We Are Union Candidate School are mounting grassroots campaigns against incumbent local politicians across Victoria. If we fight to elect real working people, then working communities have real representation in local government. They have stood up and led in our workplaces, in local organisations, in our communities. Now they are fighting to make the streets and suburbs we live in and grow families in to have thriving services.

There are issues incumbent councillors have walked past that we as union members will never walk past. We stand for communities that thrive and can reconnect locally and together we can fight for the places we live, work, and spend our lives. Whether its to make sure our child will still read their first book in the staffed local library, swim to their teachers at the swimming lessons in the local pools, to making sure aged care does not go into private hands in this pandemic.

Sign up your friends and family, volunteers, supporters to make calls to people to find out what they want in to see change. weareunion.org.au/when
