Silencing Act - VICTORY!

On Tuesday 18 Feb, nearly 4000 protesters like you took to the streets to stop Napthine's Silencing Act.

Napthine's Silencing Act:

Removed protections for peaceful assembly
Introduced up to two year imprisonment for persons returning to a banned protest or picket
Gave police and PSOs power to ‘move on’ protests, at their discretion

Today, I'm thrilled to announce that you won!

The Victorian Andrews Government has today repealed the Silencing Act. They did so because you told them - in no uncertain terms - that they must.

Take a moment to congratulate yourself

on being part of our amazing Victorian movement of community activists.
