Picket Line Training

We know the importance of taking action to build power and to show solidarity across the union movement, in our workplaces and in our communities. This is going to be even more important since the federal election result and continued attacks on working people.

Industrial action and community assemblies are a huge part of how we show support for a range of issues we care about. It’s how we fight for what’s important. But it’s also important that we do it right, keeping ourselves and each other safe!

Join us on Thursday July 18 for our Lessons from the Picket Line training!

You’ll hear from organisers and delegates from different unions about their experiences with industrial action and the lessons they’ve learned. And no training is complete without some action – so we’ll be practicing some of the skills that we’ll learn on the night!
RSVP now for catering purposes!
*We strive to run inclusive and accessible events. Please contact Dylan Goldsworthy on 0422 124 093 to discuss any necessary accessibility requirements.*
This event is designed to build capacity for young workers aged 30 and under.
