To end gendered violence at work we need to end the silence around sexual harassment and discrimination.
Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), often referred to as confidentiality agreements, are used frequently in the settlement of cases of workplace sexual harassment. NDAs contribute to cultures of silence around gendered violence at work so were campaigning to End the Misuse of NDAs.
We know gendered violence in the workplace is an occupational health and safety hazard. We also know that while employers are required to provide safe workplaces, they use NDAs as a tool to silence victim-survivors and hide from accountability.
This year, we're campaigning to end the misuse of non-disclosure agreements in cases of workplace sexual harassment.
Join other CFMEU women and hear how NDAs are harmful and how they prevent workers from organising collectively to address issues at work. You'll learn what we're fighting for, what the campaign will look like and how you can get involved.
Join our online campaign launch and take action to end the misuse of NDAs in Victorian workplaces. Check out our NDAs fact sheet for more information.
