Show penalty rates some love: Ringwood

Weekend penalty rates for vulnerable workers could be gone in 3 weeks. The Fair Work Commission is due to hand a decision that would dramatically cut weekend penalty rates for retail and hospitality workers.

But we know Australian workers love penalty rates, so this Sunday we'll be collecting messages from the public about what penalty rates mean to them, and why they should remain in place for some of our lowest paid workers.

We'll meet at the Town Square Ringwood, and chat to people as then head into Eastland to do their shopping!

Join us to show the Liberals and their big business mates that our community still loves penalty rates, and couldn't live without them. No ifs, no buts, no penalty rates cuts!
