16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence is an annual international campaign that kicks off on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and runs until 10 December, International Human Rights Day.
You're invited to join us via ZOOM on Tuesday 12 November at 6.00pm to plan how we can be activists at our workplaces to end gender-based violence at work!
The meeting is an opportunity for workplace activists and organisers to join together and plan how we can make workplaces where we are safe, respected and equal.
At this meeting we will:
- Get organised to participate in the Walk Against Family Violence on Friday 22 November
- Report back on current progress of the campaign to end non-disclosure agreements in sexual harassment matters in Victoria
- Plan how we can take action to end gender-based violence in the workplace, including a 16 Days 'How To be an Activist' toolkit and conversation starters to organise against violence at work
- Save the date for our Feminist Fundraiser! A screening of The Janes in Solidarity Hall on Monday 2 December raising money for abortion advocacy services.
