The mighty trade union movement has long been part of the struggle for LGBTIQA+ rights. From the early 1970's, fighting back against anti-gay persecution, to successfully campaigning for marriage equality. We know the fight doesn't end with marriage, the union movement has and continues to commit and stand in solidarity with our LGBTIQA+ members. Register and march in with us in solidarity.
Times, meeting venue and important information will be emailed to you, once it has been confirmed by Midsumma. In the meantime we have included some useful information.
We Have New Marching Times
11am: March begins
1.15pm: March ends (approx)
11.15am - 4pm: Post-Pride March Celebrations at Catani Gardens

It can be a long wait in the marshaling area, make sure you have a meal before arriving.
Be Sun Smart
Don’t forget to slip, slop, slap! We also recommend leaving your pets at home, where it’s cool.
Plan Your Travel
It’s a big event, parking is going to be limited! Please note that Fitzroy Street will be closed to traffic between 8am and 4.30pm approximately. Additionally, trams will not be traveling down Fitzroy Street between 10.30am and 2.30pm.
