La Trobe Doorknock

Every Australian deserves a decent, living wage, no matter what job we do or the colour of our skins. But today, big business and certain politicians force down our wages, privatise our essential services, cut funding to our schools and hospitals, and let our infrastructure fall behind; all while helping themselves to tax breaks and perks. Then they blame poor families and new immigrants for our problems! It's a bloody joke.

We don't know when the Federal Election will be called but we do know this - when the Liberals are in power, working people suffer. So it's time for us to doorknock the streets of La Trobe and let locals know about the Liberals cuts to health, education and jobs.

This is an all-in effort. We'll provide the training, snacks, and sunscreen - and if this is your first doorknock, we'll make sure to pair you up with an experienced volunteer.

When: Saturday 23rd March, 10am

Where: Pakenham Scout Hall, 34 James St, Pakenham VIC 3810
